Recodi awarded at ICTA 2026 as Flooring Company of the Year
The company has been recognized for combining high technical performance and environmental responsibility.
Recodi has been awarded, for the second consecutive time, at the ICTA – Italian Concrete Technology Awards 2026, an initiative that enhances the excellence of the concrete supply chain. The award is given to projects and realities that stand out for innovation, executive quality and contribution to technological development, on the occasion of the 6th edition of GIC – Italian Days of Concrete and Aggregates for Construction and Demolition, the main Italian exhibition-conference and one of the most important at European level. The company has confirmed itself as one of the protagonists of the sector for the second consecutive year , thanks to a project developed with a careful approach to the issue of sustainability.
As Paolo Torri, CEO of Recodi, points out, "Recodi, in its almost 60 years of activity – a goal that will be reached next year – has always maintained a strong sensitivity towards innovation, understood as the continuous development of solutions capable of improving performance, reducing environmental impact and responding more and more effectively to the needs of the industrial sector".
130,000 square meters of LEED certified flooring
The award was awarded for the creation of over 130,000 square meters of LEED-certified flooring, developed as part of a project that concretely addresses the issue of sustainability applied to industrial flooring. The intervention required a structured approach along all operational phases: from internal design to the study of mix designs, up to the selection of the most suitable materials and technologies.
A coordinated work that involved the different company skills and all phases of the process, together with the collaboration with the client and the contribution of the people involved in the activities. As Manuel Marin, Recodi Sales Technician , points out, it is in fact "a result that comes from teamwork, daily commitment and the synergy between internal skills and qualified partners".
RecoGreen: sustainable vision, concrete approach
The award obtained confirms the RecoGreen corporate approach, a sustainability-oriented vision through which Recodi translates its commitment into concrete design and application choices. Recogreen is based on the use of renewable, recycled and clean resources , on the durability of the solutions, designed to reduce maintenance and consumption of materials over time, and on attention to health, understood as the quality and safety of the environment.
Through constant analysis, optimization and updating, the company proposes itself as a qualified interlocutor in projects in which sustainability becomes a measurable parameter, capable of affecting the overall value of the intervention and the quality of industrial spaces. The construction, in 2022, of the first "green" concrete industrial floor in Italy, is also part of this direction, testifying to a commitment consolidated over time.
